JuiceBox is a startup company that works closely with energy grid operators to help them visualize their models and plan for the future. The operators need to plan how to transition to meet carbon emission targets and reach a sustainable future. JuiceBox has created a visualization tool using Unity to allow for collaboration in managing real life power plant data as well as to visualize their modeling plans to see where and when power plants will be built and which ones will be decommissioned.

I joined the team in 2022 with the goal of modernizing their data practices, bringing them out of spreadsheets and formulas into a relational database that can be queried. I centralized all of the existing python scripts into one location on GitLab so that we were all synchronized and using the latest code instead of having different versions sitting on contributors' laptops. Additionally, I made database changes to allow for adding and archiving units and added the feature in the unity application.
