DESCRIPTION
I have always been into video games ever since I was little. I remember my family had the classic NES when we lived in Boston when I was just 5 years old. We had Tetris, Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt. I would watch my siblings and their friends play Super Mario Bros. and I would learn all of the hidden paths and shortcuts.
I love playing games of all genres, some of my recent favorites include: Final Fantasy VII Remake, Ghost of Tsushima, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (Warzone), Gran Turismo 7, and The Last of Us (1& 2). I also enjoy VR games on the Meta Quest 2 with titles such as I Expect You To Die (1& 2), Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, Swarm, and Pistol Whip. Video games have evolved so much and continue to evolve at breakneck speed. Stories have become complex and compelling, graphics beautifully immersive, and gameplays pose significant challenges. That is why I want to join the industry and make an impact on future gamers!
POKER
DESCRIPTION
As a statistician and data analyst, I've always been drawn to card games. Especially with the addition of televised poker when I started college, I instantly became a student of the game. Poker is an infinitely complex mathematical game and of course includes elements of bluffing. However, good players learn how to balance their value hands with their bluff hands at the optimal ratio to maximize their expected value in each hand. I've been an above average player with slightly better than break even results but I'm dedicated to continue studying and improving. One day, I hope to be good enough to win a World Series of Poker bracelet!
